Hold on Furniture Donations for Flood Victims

We love all the support that the community is showing for those affected by the recent floods in our region.

Much of what we do here at H.O.P.E. is managing donated inventories, which is oftentimes an unknowable variable and balancing the public's desire to help out against our available space and staffing constraints can get a bit tricky, so we greatly appreciate everyone's understanding of these factors.

That being said, at this point, families are still in the very early stages of recovery and not able to take furniture items in most cases.

We anticipate within the next few weeks we will begin giving out many of the furniture items to people relocating to new homes/apartments.

In the meantime, H.O.P.E. is putting a hold on accepting furniture donations due to the overwhelming number of people who want to help and have completely filled a new 40' storage unit. If you are someone who has donated, thank you!

We will be sure to let the public know when we are able again to take these types of donations, once flood victims are ready and able to take from our current furniture inventory.
